What is the Lexinfo Attorney Alert?

The Lexinfo Attorney Alert is a weekly newsletter focusing on the latest legal developments in South Africa.

Contents

The newsletter contains references to government gazette notices, cases, statutes, bills, journal articles, government documents, new legal publications. A mini summary is provided with every item and where possible a link to the full-text document (if the item is freely available in the public domain).

Subjects Covered and Layout

The Lexinfo Attorney Alert covers a wide range of subjects. Entries in the newsletter are arranged alphabetically according to subject, and within the subject alphabetically according to the type of resource, i.e. cases, government gazettes, journal articles. The newsletter has a table of contents that hyperlink to the subject area.

Tenders and Legal Events

Current legal events such as conferences, short courses, seminars and workshops are also mentioned, as well as open tenders pertaining to the  legal and auditing fraternity.

Customisation

Customised versions of the Lexinfo Attorney Alert are also available to enable clients to select a number of subjects relevant to their practice area.

Frequency

Weekly, except during the Christmas/New year period. Approximately 50 issues per annum.
