The Children’s Amendment Bill (GenN2493 GG 50648 p3 14May2024) and Local Government: General Laws Amendment Bill (GenN2494 GG 50650 p3 14May2024) were published.

 

Parliament passed the following Bills and submitted it to the President for assent: Basic Education Laws Amendment Bill 2D of 2022; Public Procurement Bill 18D of 2023; Statistics Amendment Bill 31D of 2023; Pension Funds Amendment Bill 3D of 2024; Plant Health (Phytosanitary) Bill 14B of 2021; Marine Pollution (Prevention of Pollution from Ships) Amendment Bill 5 of 2022; Electricity Regulation Amendment Bill 23B of 2023; South African National Water Resources Infrastructure SOC Ltd Bill 24B of 2023; General Intelligence Laws Amendment Bill 40B of 2023 and the Railway Safety Bill 7B of 2021.

 

Details on the new third edition of Allen West’s The Practitioner’s Guide to Conveyancing and Notarial Practice, published by LexisNexis, are also available in this week’s edition of Attorney Alert.
