Traditional Affairs General Amendment Bill 16 of 2022



The Traditional Affairs General Amendment Bill 16 of 2022 was introduced to the National Assembly on 29 July 2022. The purpose of the Bill is “to amend the Local Government: Municipal Structures Act, 1998, so as to correct certain references to the Code of Conduct; to amend the Traditional and Khoi-San Leadership Act, 2019, so as to provide clarity on a forum to be consulted; to repeal a section of the Local Government: Municipal Structures Amendment Act, 2021; and to provide for matters connected therewith.” A copy of is available at https://pmg.org.za/files/B16-2022_Traditional_Affairs_General.pdf
